Flourless Chocolate Torte

    Ingredients

    • Cake
    • 1 cup

      chocolate chips

    • 8 Tbsp

      unsalted butter, room temperature

    • 3/4 cup

      sugar

    • 1/4 tsp

      salt

    • 2 tsp

      espresso powder

    • 1 tsp

      vanilla extract

    • 3

      eggs

    • 1/2 cup

      cocoa

    • Fresh berries

    • Triple Berry Whipped Cream
    • 1 1/2 cup

      heavy cream

    • 1 jar

      Fischer & Wieser Triple Berry Jam

    Directions

    • Cake
    • Preheat oven to 375°F.

    • Lightly grease an 8” cake pan and cut out a piece of parchment in the shape of the pan, placing it in the bottom, also greased.

    • Melt the chocolate and butter in a small pot, stirring constantly.

    • Transfer to a mixing bowl and incorporate the sugar, salt, espresso, and vanilla.

    • Beat the eggs into the mixture until smooth.

    • Mix in the cocoa powder.

    • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until internal temperature of 200°F.

    • Triple Berry Whipped Cream
    • In a bowl for a stand mixer, add in the heavy cream and the triple berry jam.

    • Beginning at a slow speed begin mixing.

    • Gradually increase to high speed until stiff peaks begin to form.

    • Serve atop a slice of flourless chocolate torte with your favorite fresh berries.
